My Craft

The Basics

While there is no way I could easily sum up my beliefs in a few quick sentences, I think it's important to know the basics of whoever is giving you an in-depth, shadow-focused reading. If you trust me with your inner world, it's only fair to trust you with mine!

Paganism

Paganism is a blanket term for those who do not follow more mainstream belief systems (such as Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc), but in recent decades it has also come to symbolize a nature-based religion. I believe all nature is sacred, and that all things follow natural cycles of birth, death, and rebirth.

Omnism

This is typically defined as the recognition and respect of all religions. I personally believe all religions hold some kind of truth within them as well. Humanity has been trying to make sense of the world for the entirety of our existence, and any one religion is just one way of doing so.

Psychology

Since being diagnosed with depression and anxiety in my 20s, psychology has become both a tool and a life raft in understanding my own mind. I use many psychological techniques in my craft, including meditation, breath work, and counseling.

Deities

While I consider myself more a follower of archetypes than a follower of gods or goddesses, there are several deities and pantheons I work with regularly and faithfully. I currently work with Hecate, Brigid, Hades, Hestia, and my matron goddess, Persephone.

Intention

Put simply: intention is energy is transformation is reality is magic. While I don't perform any magic tricks, I do believe that magic exists in the form of intention. I believe intention can be used for both positive and negative gain, and that it plays a hefty part in our everyday lives.

Shadow Work

I strongly believe that shadow work, the process of confronting the repressed parts of ourselves, is one of the most important aspects of any spiritual or therapeutic practice. Shadow work has been fundamental in my healing journey, and is what led me to doing readings for people besides myself.
